Audi Q2 GA electrically folding mirrors + mirror heating retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your Audi Q2 GA with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors and mirror heating.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electrically folding and heated mirrors - suitable for your AUDI Q2 GA.

+ Operation is via the new switch position in the driver's door and via the new menu item in your MMI multimedia system.

+ With subsequently available passenger mirror lowering, the right mirror glass goes down when you engage reverse gear.

+ You can select in the MMI whether the mirrors should fold in automatically when you lock your AUDI.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically activate the folding mirrors with mirror heating - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original automatically folding exterior mirrors including the heated mirror glasses is possible on all AUDI Q2 / SQ2 GA models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants.

If you only want to retrofit the folding exterior mirrors, you can find this retrofit package under article number: 16875

If you only want to retrofit the mirror heating, you can find this retrofit package under article number: 16877

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine this, you can read the part numbers directly from the two front door control units or use a tester to read them out. - Generally speaking:

Structure of the part number: XX0-959-?9X

Here the position of the ? (question mark) is important.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit must be replaced.

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 16878.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new, electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they do NOT need to be replaced.

The cover around the current mirror rotation switch will be replaced because you will later have one more position which can be selected with the rotation switch supplied here.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
