After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here carries out the complete automatic activation using the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)) or installed PR number NI9 (NI9 = With UNECE CS&SU) or installed PR number NI1 (NI1 = With UNECE CS&SU).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles from the 2023 model year with a PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) installed can only be upgraded to a limited extent. Please contact us in advance with the chassis number so that we can check this. Vehicles from previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, 2020, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original heated mirror glasses / mirror heating is possible on all AUDI Q2 / SQ2 GA models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) as well as all equipment variants

Your AUDI Q2 detects how warm or cold it is using the factory-installed temperature sensor and switches the mirror heating on or off.

NO cable laying is necessary as the cables from the rotary switch to the mirror glasses are already laid at the factory.

Mirror glasses: Currently, glasses are always installed without heating - these glasses have a "blind plug" into which the already installed cable set is plugged so that it does not "hang around". The glasses are to be replaced 1:1 with the original exterior mirror glasses supplied here.

Door control units: ALL door control units are already capable of the mirror heating function at the factory and do not need to be replaced.

Installation information:

The inserted mirror glass is simply levered out and replaced - no cable set is necessary as this is already installed in the mirror at the factory.

The driver's door panel is removed according to the illustrated installation instructions (a few screws, also just plugged in).

The rotary switch and the panel around the switch are changed because you get one more position for the mirror heating.
