Audi A6 4A C8 active tire pressure monitoring air pressure in the MMI retrofit package

Upgrade your AUDI A6 4A C8 with the original tire pressure control HIGH.

This means your AUDI displays the actual tire pressure in bar along with the current tire temperature!

If there is a loss of pressure, you will receive a warning showing the affected wheel.

You can easily retrofit this safety system, which is only available as an option on RS6 4A C8 models, in your AUDI A6 / S6 / RS6!

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to completely automatically activate the active tire pressure monitoring system - NO further coding work with a tester is necessary.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

Vehicles of the model year 2023 with installed PR number NI0 (NI0 = Without UNECE CS&SU) or vehicles of previous model years (e.g. 2022, 2021, etc., where this PR number does not yet exist) can still be retrofitted.

The retrofitting of the original tire pressure control HIGH is possible on all AUDI A6 / S6 / RS6 4A C8 models of all years of manufacture, all body styles (Avant, Sedan, allroad) and all equipment variants.

Please note the current exclusion for vehicles from model year 2024 with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG). Unfortunately, these models cannot currently be retrofitted. As soon as this is possible, we will inform you here in the product description of this retrofit package.

The standard tire pressure system without pressure sensors in the tires (= PR number 7K1), which detects a loss of pressure (no actual air pressure / no temperature display is shown) using a calculated value of the wheel rotation, is expanded to the HIGH system with display of the real measured data of each individual tire.

This allows you to easily inflate all tires evenly and check them in all driving situations.

The current tire valves are replaced with valves with tire pressure sensors. This standard installation, which is possible with every rim, can be carried out by any tire service, for example.

While driving, the tire pressure sensors automatically report to the new tire pressure control unit, which is installed in the trunk area.

The display is shown on all models in the new menu item of your MMI multimedia system as well as in the menu item "Sports display" in the Virtual Cockpit / Speedometer.

Tire pressure sensors:

Choose for yourself whether you would like to order the tire pressure sensors!

For example, if you already have a complete wheel set with tire pressure sensors already installed, you can continue to use them.

If you have not yet installed tire pressure sensors, you can also order 2 sets (= 8 tire pressure sensors) for your summer + winter tires.

Alternatively, it is also possible to install the tire pressure sensors only in the summer tires, for example. If you then install the wheel set without tire pressure sensors on your AUDI in the winter, you can simply switch the system back to the "normal" tire pressure system with the KECODI. The following summer, you can then simply switch the system back on with the KECODI.
