Here we supply you with the retrofit package for the original radar-assisted lane change assistant - especially suitable for your AUDI A5 F5 B9.

This means your AUDI A5 warns you of hidden dangers/vehicles that are in your blind spot, for example - a very pleasant safety plus.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x Original AUDI A5 F5 B9 side assist radar sensor left
• - 1x Original AUDI A5 F5 B9 side assist radar sensor right
• - 1x original AUDI A5 F5 B9 mounting material / screws etc.
• - 1x original AUDI A5 F5 B9 mirror cap left including warning indicator with cable set (can be ordered optionally)
• - 1x original AUDI A5 F5 B9 mirror cap right including warning indicator with cable set (can be ordered optionally)
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 6 - 7 hours

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original lane change assistant / side assist is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 F5 B9 models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift), all body styles (sportback, coupé, cabriolet) and all equipment variants.

The mirror housings with warning indicators for the side assist can be ordered optionally.

If, for example, you would like to install completely different exterior mirrors (e.g. because you would also like to convert to folding exterior mirrors / second-hand exterior mirrors, etc.), you cannot order the mirror caps including warning displays.

If you wish, we can deliver these to you already painted in the correct color - so you receive a retrofit package ready for installation.

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using the chassis number provided / the paint code stored there.

Models with currently installed S5 / RS5 mirror caps in "aluminium / alu" can also be supplied on request (+ approx. 600 EUR).

Please check whether the two currently installed front door control units are capable of the Highline equipment of the lane change assistant.

If the two currently installed front door control units are NOT capable, they must also be replaced.

The third-to-last digit of the currently installed part number is important for the lane change assistant to work; this must be "7". "5" and "3" are unfortunately not possible and must be replaced. Here are some examples:

Left door control unit part number: 4M1959793 = capable; 8W1959593 = not capable.

Right door control unit part number: 4M1959792 = capable; 8W1959392 = not capable.

If the door control units currently installed in your system are NOT capable of being replaced, we can offer them to you under item number: 16637.
