+ Optical display of the live image on the MMI screen with display of the active and moving auxiliary lines when steering

+ Activation of the live image when engaging reverse gear or by pressing the parking aid button (if installed)

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to fully automatically activate the rear view camera - NO further coding work with a tester and NO activation with an SVM activation code from an AUDI partner is necessary.

Please note the exclusion for vehicles from model year 2023 onwards with installed PR number NI8 (NI8 = Without UNECE CS (R155) and SU (R156) with SFD2-SG) or installed PR number NI7 (NI7 = With UNECE CS (R155) without SU (R156)).

Unfortunately, these models cannot be retrofitted or unlocked.

MMI Navigation plus with touch input (= PR number: 7UG)

MMI Navigation Standard (= PR number: 7UF)

MMI with navigation preparation (= PR number: 7UH / 7UZ)

MMI radio standard (PR number: I8E)

MMI Radio high (PR number: I8L, I8S)

Suitable for all AUDI A5 F5 models of all parking aid systems such as: Parking aid rear (PR no.: 7X1), front + rear (PR no.: 7X2), parking steering assistant (PR no.: 7X5) as well as suitable for your AUDI without parking aid (PR no.: 7X0).

For your AUDI A5 F5 Cabriolet you need the rear view camera retrofit package with article number: 16613

The existing push button on the tailgate will be replaced 1:1 with the original AUDI A5 F5 B9 push button with integrated camera.

When you engage reverse gear, the system immediately switches to the camera system (functions 100% as installed at the factory).

The display is dynamic - i.e. active - with auxiliary lines/auxiliary fields, thus 100% with ALL functions as installed at the factory.
