After a quick plug-in to the easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the "Kessy" comfort access system using the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Retrofitting the original comfort key is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8T 8F models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift + facelift), all body styles (Sportback, Coupé, Cabriolet).

Suitable for all AUDI A5 models with all installed multimedia systems such as:

Radio Chorus

Radio Concert

Radio Symphony

MMI2G Basic (monochrome screen)

MMI2G High (6-CD changer in the center console)

MMI3G Navigation (navigation data on DVD or SD card)

MMI3G+ Navigation (navigation data on hard drive)

INFO: The additionally required new vehicle keys (only the transmitter is required - the key bit remains and is taken over) with Kessy function can be ordered from your local AUDI partner and are NOT included in the scope of delivery.

Current vehicle keys do not have a keyless function - these must always be replaced.

Please check whether a Highline comfort control unit is already installed (= control unit address 46; BCM2).

Installation information:

All cable sets are labeled and are installed according to the instructions and connected as factory installed.

We recommend removing the entry panels and door panels; installation is then less complicated than you might think.

The outer door handles are not changed (these always fit) but only the original sensor is installed inside each of the 4 door handles, as installed at the factory.

A total of 4 antennas are installed (1x in the center console, 1x in the trunk, 2x in the rear doors).

The start button is located next to the gear lever on all models.

MMI Navigation = Replacement of the control unit with the supplied MMI control unit with additional button

Radio system without navigation = replacement of the black panel

The new original vehicle keys (= the transmitter with convenience key function) that are always required must then be programmed to the vehicle by your local AUDI partner (this process is 1:1 identical to the regular process of programming a key).

The cable sets run from the comfort control unit (= BCM2, this is located at the rear right of the trunk) to each door and into the center console.
