Audi A5 8T 8F Facelift rear parking aid visual representation conversion package

Upgrade your Audi A5 8T 8F FACELIFT MODEL with the optical representation of the rear parking aid.

Here we supply you with a conversion package for your existing original rear parking aid system.

You will then receive a visual representation of the 4 PDC sensors in your MMI multimedia system.

The optical display in the MMI is possible for pre-facelift models up to and including model year 2011 by coding (see our article number: 15180)

For the later facelift models from model year 2012 onwards, the installation of the retrofit package supplied here is necessary in order to create the optical display in the MMI.

Pre-facelift model = BEFORE the 2012 model year (e.g. 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008) / "round grille"

The conversion of the original rear parking aid to the optical display is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8T 8F facelift models from model year 2012 (= PR number: GP2) with already installed rear parking aid (= PR number: 7X1) with one of the following installed multimedia systems:

Radio Concert

Radio Symphony

MMI3G Basic without hard drive navigation (= PR number 7T2 / the front sensors not installed are displayed as occupied in the MMI)

NOT suitable for models with Radio Chorus or MMI3G+ with hard drive navigation (= PR number 7T6).

NOT suitable for models WITHOUT built-in parking aid at the rear (= PR number: 7X0).

Alternatively, we can also offer you the retrofit package for the front parking aid (= installation of the front PDC sensors), after which you will receive the optical representation of the front + rear PDC sensors in the MMI, this retrofit package can be ordered under article number: 16545.
