With this very easy-to-retrofit system, the engine dynamics, the throttle response, the gearshift behavior, the power steering/Servotronic (the electromechanical steering is tighter or more comfortable at the touch of a button), the quattro sport differential, the dynamic steering and the built-in engine sound system (louder / quieter) of your AUDI A5 can be regulated at the touch of a button

In addition, the interior becomes significantly more attractive thanks to the new button panel.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here carries out the complete automatic activation of the drive select system with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you.

Installation time: approx. 1 hour

Please select during the ordering process whether you would like to order the cover with or without a recess for the engine start button.

INFO:

Engine start button = the round silver start button behind the parking brake / this is only installed in vehicles with KeylessEntry / KeylessGo.

If you select "with cover / with engine start button" the cover will be delivered with this hole - in this you mount your existing engine start button.

If you select "with cover / without engine start button" the cover will be delivered without this hole (for models without Keyless Go).

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original drive select system is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8T 8F pre-facelift models of all body styles (Coupé, Sportback, Cabriolet) with a built-in radio system (Chorus, Concert, Symphony).

Therefore suitable for all pre-facelift models BEFORE model year 2012 (e.g. 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008).

NOT suitable for facelift models FROM model year 2012 (e.g. 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015).

NOT suitable for models WITH navigation system such as MMI2G, MMI3G, MMI3G+

To install the new drive select switch, a new cover around the gear lever with the recess for the drive select switch is required - you can order this optionally at the same time. This cover is exchanged 1:1 for the existing one.

ALL add-on parts such as the parking brake button, the possibly installed button for the start/stop system, the possibly installed engine start button and the coin container are transferred from the old panel to the new panel 1:1 Plug & Play.

The new drive select switch is connected to the central electrics in the driver's footwell using the supplied and pre-assembled cable set - this automatically controls all other control units installed in your AUDI A5.

Thus, you can achieve a very high effect with this very simple retrofit.
