Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the original rear view camera in your AUDI A5 8F Cabriolet

+ Optical display of the live image on the screen as well as the dynamic guide lines which change depending on the steering angle

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here completes the automatic activation of the rear view camera with the help of the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you.

The retrofitting of the original rear view camera is possible on all AUDI A5 / S5 / RS5 8F Cabriolet models of all years of manufacture (facelift + pre-facelift), all equipment variants (with or without built-in TV tuner) as well as all built-in PDC parking aid systems (e.g. PR number 7X0, 7X1, 7X2, 7X4) with one of the following built-in MMI navigation systems:

MMI3G navigation with PR number: 7T2 (2x SD slots and 1x CD slot in the center console + navigation data on DVD)

MMI3G+ navigation with PR number: 7T6 (2x SD slots and 1x CD slot in the center console + navigation data on hard drive)

NOT suitable for AUDI A5 Cabrio models with radio system without navigation such as Radio Chorus, Concert or Symphony.

Even with facelift models from model year 2012 onwards, the live image from the camera appears immediately when reverse gear is engaged or when the parking aid button is pressed (with front + rear parking aid) - nothing needs to be switched to get the camera display.

The retrofit is of course also possible without any problems on your AUDI A5 8T WITHOUT parking aid (= PR number 7X0). No additional parts are required - sending in the MMI main unit is of course never necessary.
