Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original electric trunk / luggage compartment lid in your AUDI A4 8K B8 Avant or allroad.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you to completely automatically unlock the electric tailgate including the integrated closing aid.

• - 1x all necessary AUDI A4 8K original parts such as 2x actuators, button for tailgate, 2x gas pressure dampers, 1x closing aid, 1x various mounting materials, button with cover for driver's door (depending on model)

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original electric tailgate is possible on all AUDI A4 / S4 / RS4 8K Avant + allroad models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift etc.) and all equipment variants.

NOT suitable for the AUDI A4 8K sedan (the sedan does not have an electric tailgate but only a spring mechanism).

With this retrofit, NO changes to the bodywork are necessary - ALL AUDI A4 8K B8 Avant / allroad models are already prepared for the electric tailgate at the factory.

For some AUDI A4 8K models, depending on the equipment, it is also necessary to replace the comfort control unit (BCM2 / control unit address 46)! This control unit is located in the right side flap in the trunk - simply open this compartment and read the part number of the large, black, upright-mounted control unit.

This control unit is always called "8K0907064 XY" (index = "XY" at the end) - please check the currently installed index. Indexes that are compatible with the electric tailgate are:

CS, CQ, DQ, BQ, AQ, Q, JH, EJ, EH, GJ, FJ, GH, AE, HJ, JJ, KJ, KH.

NOT eligible index values ​​are: GF, JD, KE, CP

If the currently installed control unit is not capable, you can also order it at any time under article number: 16463.

The scope of delivery also includes the original driver's door button (as installed at the factory), which allows the tailgate to be opened when the driver is still sitting in the driver's seat.

Functional sequence of the original electric tailgate (1:1 as installed at the factory):

Press the middle button of the existing radio key: the tailgate opens.

Press the new button in the tailgate: tailgate closes.

Press the button in the driver’s door: the tailgate opens.
