Here we provide you with the complete package for retrofitting the automatic parking steering assistant in your AUDI A3 8Y.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to fully automatically activate the automatic parking function, including creating the menu item in your MMI with a visual display.

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the parking steering assistant is possible on all AUDI A3 / S3 / RS3 8Y models of all years of manufacture, all body styles (Sportback, Sedan) and all equipment variants without currently installed parking aid (= PR number: 7X0) as well as with already installed rear parking aid (PR number: 7X1).

AUDI A3 models with currently installed rear parking aid (= 4 sensors at the rear) will be upgraded to front + rear parking aid with parking steering assistant (= 6 sensors at the rear, 6 sensors at the front). With this retrofit, the two outer PLA sensors are installed at the rear and the 4x PDC sensors and the two outer PLA sensors at the front.

AUDI A3 models without currently installed parking assistance (= no sensors at the rear) will be upgraded to front + rear parking assistance with parking steering assistant (= 6 sensors at the rear, 6 sensors at the front). With this retrofit, the 4x PDC sensors and the two outer PLA sensors are installed at the rear and the 4x PDC sensors and the two outer PLA sensors are installed at the front.

This complete package is planned and delivered depending on the chassis number provided.

If you wish, we can supply you with PDC sensors already painted in the correct colors.

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using your chassis number / the paint codes stored there.

If you do not want us to paint the parking sensors, they will be delivered primed.

Installation information for AUDI A3 models with currently installed rear parking aid:

FRONT: The existing front bumper including the radiator grille can simply be reused! The two outer blind caps in the grilles are removed and the PDC sensors are inserted using the brackets provided. There are also factory markings/"caps" in the radiator grille. The two inner holes for the parking aid sensors are to be drilled into these, and the two middle PDC sensors are mounted there. The two PLA sensors are installed flush in the bumper using the brackets provided.

REAR: The two rear PLA sensors are installed flush on the outside of the bumper using the brackets provided. There are already factory markings on the inside, where the two holes for the parking assist sensors are to be drilled/punched.

Installation information for AUDI A3 models without currently installed rear parking aid:

FRONT: The existing front bumper including the radiator grille can simply be reused! The two outer blind caps in the grilles are removed and the PDC sensors are inserted using the brackets provided. There are also factory markings/"caps" in the radiator grille. The two inner holes for the parking aid sensors are to be drilled into these, and the two middle PDC sensors are mounted there. REAR: The existing rear bumper can also be reused. The two outer blind caps, which are inserted in the two outer grilles, are removed and the PDC sensors are inserted in place of these blind caps. On the inside (= in the middle of the rear bumper) there are already factory markings, where the two inner holes for the parking aid sensors are to be drilled / punched. The two rear PLA sensors are also installed flush in the bumper using the brackets provided.
