Audi A3 8y parking aid at the front optical display retrofit package

Significantly enhance your AUDI A3 8Y with the front parking aid with optical display.

Here we supply you with the complete package for retrofitting the front parking aid (= PDC sensors front) with optical display in the MMI for your AUDI A3 8Y.

The currently installed rear parking aid (= 4 sensors) without optical display will be expanded to front + rear parking aid (= 8 sensors) with optical display!

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already pre-configured for you to fully automatically activate the front parking aid, including generating the visual display in your MMI.

• The KECODI automatically performs the unlocking (also known colloquially as "GEKO" / "SFD") as well as the complete activation (= coding / parameterization as well as the final deletion of the error memory) in the shortest possible time!

Product attributes:

Retrofitting the original front parking aid is possible on all AUDI A3 / S3 8Y models of all years of manufacture, all body styles (Sportback, Sedan) and all equipment variants with built-in rear parking aid (= PR number 7X1).

To retrofit the front and rear parking aid you need our PDC retrofit package with article no.: 16306

To retrofit the front + rear parking aid + parking steering assistant you need our PDC retrofit package with article no.: 16305

The currently installed rear parking aid (= 4 sensors) without optical display will be expanded to front + rear parking aid (= 8 sensors) with optical display!

This complete package will be planned and delivered according to the chassis number provided.

On request, we will be happy to supply you with PDC sensors already painted in the correct colors.

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using your chassis number / the paint codes stored there.

If you do not want us to paint the parking sensors, they will be delivered primed.

Installation information for AUDI A3 models with currently installed rear parking aid:

The existing front bumper and grille can simply be reused! The two outer blind caps in the grilles are removed, and the PDC sensors are inserted using the included brackets. The grille also has factory-applied markings/"caps." The two inner holes for the parking aid sensors are drilled into these holes, where the two middle PDC sensors are mounted.
