Significantly upgrade your AUDI A3 8V with the original hill start assist / hill hold.

This means your AUDI A3 will automatically stop on the spot WITHOUT having to press the brake pedal.


Here we provide you with the complete package for the installation of this additional equipment, often also called "Auto-Hold".

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the coding dongle supplied here completes the automatic activation of the hill start assist / HillHold with the help of the innovative APP that is already pre-configured for you.
In addition, the so-called automatic handbrake is also activated.
When you turn off the engine, the handbrake is automatically applied and released again when you start driving, so you no longer have to press the handbrake button yourself.

• The retrofitting of the original Hill Hold / Auto Hold / Hill Start Assist is possible on all AUDI A3 / e-tron / S3 / RS3 8V models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift or facelift), the following body styles (3-door, Sportback, Sedan) and all equipment variants / transmission versions (automatic / DSG / multitronic / s-tronic as well as manual transmission).
• The currently installed coin box will be "smaller" because the Auto Hold button is located there - the new "smaller" cover (= the coin box) will also be included.
• We can offer you the Auto-Hold retrofit package for AUDI A3 8V Cabriolet models under article number: 11668.

Functional description:

• You can stop on a slope WITHOUT USING THE BRAKE PEDAL without rolling backward or forward.
• You can leave the automatic gearshift lever on D/S and take your foot off the brake - the vehicle will ALWAYS stay in one place without moving - by pressing the accelerator pedal your AUDI will start moving again immediately (even if the start/stop system is switched on).
• With manual transmissions it is sufficient to operate the clutch with the gear engaged OR, as with automatic models, not to operate any pedal at all.
• You no longer need to apply the parking brake if you want to get out of the vehicle for a short time, etc.
• When you park your AUDI you no longer have to use the handbrake - after removing the ignition key (or pressing a button with KeylessGo) the engine switches off AND the parking brake is automatically applied (the handbrake is activated).
• You can activate or deactivate the system at any time by pressing a button on the new parking brake switch.
• A very comfortable optional extra for your AUDI A3 8V.
