Significantly upgrade your Audi A3 8V with the original parking aid APS (rear).

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original rear parking aid - suitable for your AUDI A3 8V.

+ acoustic warning through the original adjustable warning sounder in the rear interior

+ Sensors are mounted at the already marked locations on the bumpers

This makes it easy to retrofit the technology installed at the factory.

Not comparable with "accessory solutions" such as 8U0054630B or 8V0054630A

because there is no visual representation, universal installation, no controllability in the MMI, protruding sensors, larger sensors than those installed at the factory, etc.

Scope of delivery:

• - 1x all necessary AUDI A3 8V original parts such as 1x PDC control unit, 4x PDC sensors, 4x sealing rings, 1x warning sounder, 4x bumper bracket, 4x mounting material for bumper bracket
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set PDC rear control unit
• - 1x pre-assembled cable set PDC rear bumper
• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 3 hours

Please provide the chassis number during the ordering process.

The retrofitting of the original parking aid APS (= rear parking aid) is possible on all AUDI A3 / S3 / RS3 8V models (sportback, 3-door, sedan, convertible, s-line, etc.) of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) and all equipment variants.

The existing rear bumper of your AUDI A3 8V can be reused without any problem.

For pre-facelift models up to and including model year 2016, the visual representation after installation is also possible.

On facelift models from model year 2017 onwards, the OPS (= optical display) as installed at the factory is unfortunately only possible with front and rear parking sensors.

On request, we will be happy to supply you with PDC sensors already painted in the correct colors

Painting work is carried out by a master automotive paint shop using your chassis number / the paint codes stored there.

If you do not want us to paint the PDC sensors, they will be delivered primed.

4x sensors in vehicle color are located in the rear bumper.

The existing bumper can easily be used to retrofit the original PDC sensors by simply drilling the necessary holes at the locations already marked on the inside of the bumper.
