Audi A1 GB electrically folding mirror retrofit package

Significantly upgrade your Audi A1 GB with the original electrically folding exterior mirrors.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing the original folding mirrors - suitable for your AUDI A1 GB.

It is operated via the new switch position in the driver's door and via the new menu item in your MMI multimedia system - as installed at the factory.

After briefly plugging it into the very easily accessible OBD diagnostic interface in the driver's footwell, the KECODI coding interface supplied here uses the innovative KECODI that is already preset for you to completely automatically activate the automatically folding vehicle mirrors.

• - 1x original AUDI A1 GB outside mirror electrically folding right (depending on model)
• - 1x original AUDI A1 GB mirror rotation switch (depending on model)
• - 1x KECODI interface

• - 1x installation instructions (German)

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of the original automatically folding exterior mirrors is possible on all AUDI A1 GB models (including AUDI A1 GB Citycarver) of all equipment variants and all years of manufacture.

Product compatibility:

The vehicle manufacturer installs two different door control units (Lowline, Highline), each of which enables more or fewer additional functions.

To determine this, you can read the part numbers directly from the two front door control units or use a tester to read them out. - Generally speaking:

Structure of part number: XX0-959-?9X

The position of the ? (question mark) is important here.

If it is necessary to replace the door control units, these can be ordered under item number: 16410.

? = 5 = Retrofitting possible - the door control unit does not have to be replaced to retrofit the folding mirrors.

? = 3 = Retrofitting not possible - the door control unit must be replaced.

Installation information:

The existing painted mirror housings and the mirror glasses are individual components - these are dismantled and mounted on the new electrically folding mirrors supplied here - so they DO NOT need to be replaced.

The cover around the current mirror rotation switch will be replaced because you will later have one more position which can be selected with the rotation switch supplied here.

No further wiring work is necessary - the new mirrors are simply plugged into the door control unit inside the door.
