You want to stream/play music via Bluetooth from your mobile phone to your Chorus radio system.

Here we supply you with the retrofit package for installing a Bluetooth streaming function in your AUDI A1 8X with Radio Chorus and AUX-IN connection already installed at the factory.

The control of the tracks and the display of the track names is done via the mobile phone - technically speaking, the audio signal is fed into the MMI via the AUX-IN input.

Scope of delivery:

  • - 1x pre-assembled cable set
  • - 1x Bluetooth receiver
  • - 1x installation instructions (German)

Installation time: approx. 30 minutes

Product attributes:

The retrofitting of this A2DP Bluetooth interface for the transmission of audio signals (= streaming music via your mobile phone with the vehicle speakers) is possible on all AUDI A1 / S1 8X models of all years of manufacture (pre-facelift / facelift) WITH installed Radio Chorus (= PR number: 8UA) as well as WITH already factory-installed AUX-IN input (= with already installed AUX-IN socket).

NOT suitable for models with built-in MMI3G / 3G+ navigation system (e.g. PR number: 7T2 or 7T6)

NOT suitable for models with built-in RMC infotainment system without navigation system (e.g. PR number: 8AL)

NOT suitable for models without a factory-installed AUX-IN input (= without input for jack plug, e.g. PR number: UF0).

With this solution offered here, the control of the tracks and the display of the track names is done via the mobile phone - technically speaking, the audio signal is fed into the Radio Chorus via the AUX input.

Any existing Bluetooth hands-free system can of course continue to be used in parallel.

Installation information:

Pull out the radio.

To easily dismantle the radio unit, we recommend using our release bracket, which you can order at any time under item number 75005.

Mount the cable set behind the radio and place the Bluetooth receiver firmly connected to it.

No coding is required - the system works immediately!
